Course description
Traliant’s Fire Extinguisher Safety training is a 30-minute course that teaches employees how to assess the environment and determine whether conditions are safe to use a fire extinguisher safely or evacuate. Learners will explore how fire extinguishers work, how to identify the right type for different classes of fire, and how to operate an extinguisher using the PASS (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) method.
This course supports OSHA fire extinguisher safety training requirements under 29 CFR 1910.157 and is designed to complement an organization’s emergency action plan and fire prevention plan. Interactive knowledge checks, real-engine video scenarios, and a final quiz help reinforce key learning points.
